Rochester is OK!

It's not that bad. Really. Exploring the finer things of Rochester, NY.

And today it’s supposed to reach 87 degrees. See, Rochester, it’s ok. Everything is in bloom. That’s a highlight from my own front yard. Hope everyone is enjoying the day today. If you can, seriously, make it to Highland Park. The Lilacs are in full bloom.

I’d also like to take a second to give a personal shout out to my friends Jason and Terri who are getting married today. Congratulations!

Spring!

I feel like I should be updating more, but I’ve been rather busy in the last few weeks with some work related projects, and my other blog. I’m hoping to make it to at least one new restaurant this week, or at least talk about another one of my neighborhood favorites. Today is St. Patrick’s Day, and while people celebrated mostly on Saturday, most places are still liable to be quite crowded today. If anyone out there is celebrating today, be safe.

Spring in Rochester is definitely one of my favorite seasons. The Lilac Festival is right around the corner, which is always a big draw for the city. The weather has been especially nice for a trip to the zoo in the last few days, which is another place I need to get to this year. Especially to see the snow leopards. I can’t be an Apple geek and deny myself an opportunity to see snow leopards. :)

I have a pretty comprehensive list of what I want to talk about, so I need to make more time to do it. I’m also looking for other writers out there. If you’re interested, my e-mail is on the contact page. Shoot me a sample, and tell me a bit about yourself. It’s not a paying gig, but if you’re enthusiastic about our community and can write at a 12th grade level, we’d love to have you contribute. I’m looking for people who’s lifestyles are different from mine that can offer a different perspective of the city.

Have a great week!
